“When he was called to duty God, wherever water may have raged. You gave him the strength to save some lives, whatever were their age. You help him embrace a child before it was too late or save an older person from the horror of that fate. You enabled him to be alert and hear the weakest shout. And so he did, quickly and efficiently, helped his victims out. I believe he filled his calling and did all that he could. To guard and protect his neighbour, like any lifeguard would. And as according to Your will, he gave his life that day. From this day forward to our last, may we remember him that way.”
