We would firstly like to thank our sponsors SPAR Hartenbos & Reebok Superette en Take Away for their contribution not only to this day but in general throughout the year. Secondly we would like to acknowledge the committee of Eden Lifesaving District that supported our club and the event. Future Micro Nippers, Nippers, First Years and their parents all registered and were screened for Covid-19 before being welcomed by our club Chairman Grey Stopforth Snr and President Wade Shaw.

Before our visitors commenced with some fun in the sun and training, a First Aid demonstration was held by MediCube PTY LTD who shared some valuable first aid & basic life support knowledge for both young and old.

Tracey Reinecke, our head coach together with our club captain, Francois Botha, and supported by our instructors, safety officers and current members showed our visitors the ropes in both the ocean and on the beach.

We want to take this opportunity to thank all our visitors that gave their precious time on Sunday to share in this wonderful day. The club is grateful to those new Micro Nippers, Nippers, First Years and parents that have decided to join the club as new members.

We have reached the end of our season but plan to hold our next Open Day around the last week of August 2021 & hope to see some more new faces then…
